Atlanta, GA - The World Basketball Association is proud to announce that several of the players from the 2006 season are moving on to opportunities with the NBA. Here is a list of players that have scheduled workouts, mini-camps, or summer league opportunities with the NBA:

There are dozens of other players that now only one week from the conclusion of the WBA season are in negotiations for contracts with teams around the world and a few spots still remain in the NBA's Summer Pro Leagues. The WBA looks to add to the names of Josh Powell (6'9''-F-83, college: N.Carolina St.), Kyle Davis (6'10''-F-82, agency: Elfus-Siegel Management (ESM), college: Auburn), and David Young (6'5''-G/F-81, agency: Elfus-Siegel Management (ESM), college: N.Carolina Central); players from the WBA two years ago that last season suited up in the NBA.
The WBA had 21 former players go on to NBA opportunities last summer and look to improve upon those numbers this year. The World Basketball Association is solidifying it's position as one of the most talent laden professional leagues in the World and as the league of opportunity for those players looking to develop their skills working towards NBA and overseas opportunities.
