Did not play organized basketball until walking on team at Knoxville College as a freshman in 2006. Transferred to Stillman College (SIAC) sophmore year averaging 9 pts 4 reb. Junior season made all conference 2nd team averaging 10 pts 7 reb as well as team MVP. Senior season led conference in reb. was ranked 7 in the nation in field goal percentage at 61% and finished season averaging 15 pts 10 reb as well as team MVP. Played in Paraguay 2010 season averaging 20 pts 12 reb with season high of 30 pts 16 reb. played in Bolivia and Argentina 2011 averaging 18 pts 13 reb with season high of 24 pts 11 reb vs. Venezuela National team. Won conference championship to qualify for 2012 South American cup finals.

Former WBA star Anthony Grundy starred for North Carolina State before utilizing the WBA to springboard a career in the NBA with the Atlanta Hawks. Our condolences to Grundy's family and friends.

Leroy McMath
Founder
McMath started the WBA in 2004, which restructured in 2015, resumed in 2018, and postponed play due to covid restrictions. Over the years, the WBA has created opportunities for young men to play professionally across the globe, including numerous players in the NBA/systems.

Slaton is an Ed.S. graduate of the American College of Education and former team owner of the Macon Blaze. Slaton has served as a Director at Herzing University and the Pacific Institute of Technology.

Micheal "Stinger" Glenn is an American former professional basketball player drafted #23 by the Chicago Bulls. Glenn was selected to the All-Century team at Southern Illinois University and was also inducted into the Missouri Valley Conference Hall of Fame.
